CAMPUS TOURS
Tours are offered on weekdays throughout the year and are primarily conducted by students. It is recommended that tours be scheduled with the Office of Admissions (212.592.2100) at least two to four weeks in advance of the desired date. Group tours should be scheduled at least four weeks in advance.

10 am - Photography; 2 pm - Fine Arts, Visual and Critical Studies

Friday

10 am - Computer Art, Computer Animation and Visual Effects, Interior Design; 2pm - Cartooning, Illustration, Animation

PORTFOLIO REVIEWS
To schedule an on-campus portfolio review Monday through Friday, contact the Office of Admissions (212.592.2100) two to four weeks in advance of the date you would like to visit. On-campus portfolio reviews are not required for admission.

Graduate applicants should refer to the Graduate Application Requirements for information on interviews.

OPEN HOUSES

During the fall, visitors have an opportunity to meet formally and informally with the president of the College, the chair of each department being showcased that day, current SVA students, and members of the admissions, financial aid, residence life and student affairs staffs.

REGIONAL EVENTS

Throughout the fall semester, SVA hosts regionally specific events as a means of bringing the school to interested applicants. Here students can learn more about choosing a major, developing a portfolio, scholarship opportunities and financial aid. Admissions staff will be present throughout the events to review portfolios and provide feedback on work in progress.

COMPLETION DAYS

The Office of Admissions offers applicants the opportunity to visit SVA on selected Saturdays in order to complete the application process. Applicants can have portfolio reviews, go on tours of the College and hand-deliver application materials. Admissions Staff will be available throughout the day to answer questions and financial aid workshops will be offered. Portfolio reviews are available by appointment only, so please call the Office of Admissions to schedule an interview.

NPDA PORTFOLIO DAY EVENTS
SVA is an active participant in the Portfolio Days sponsored by the National Portfolio Day Association (NPDA). As a member of NPDA, representatives from SVA will join other NASAD (National Association of Schools of Art and Design) accredited colleges to review portfolios, offer helpful suggestions, and provide information on specific programs and requirements. SVA will host portfolio days in Houston, TX on Saturday, October 2, 2010 and in Dallas, TX on Sunday, October 3, 2010.
