The Division of Continuing Education offers specialized courses to help students and professionals manage the business aspects of a creative enterprise or a career as a practicing artist.

Whether you are embarking on a new career or are seeking heightened marketability in your current field, our professional development program will help launch you toward your goals.

Our faculty includes artists, art administrators, curators, lawyers, marketing professionals, production managers, producers and writers who can assist you in presentation skills and help you to capitalize on your unique skill sets and interests. Gain valuable insight into the inner workings of a career in the arts, identify your options and learn how to survive in a continually evolving marketplace.

ART AND INDUSTRY INFORMATION SESSION
One night: Mon., Aug. 30
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FREE OF CHARGE

This information session will introduce courses that examine the commercial and legal aspects of running a creative enterprise and sustaining a lucrative career as an artist. If you are a working artist or arts entrepreneur, these professional components are essential to the business of art. Spend an evening with members of our Art and Industry faculty and discover which of these courses can assist the business aspects of your creative practice. There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the program.
NOTE: This information session will be held at 209 East 23rd Street, room 502, 5th floor. Seating is given on a first-come, first-served basis. Session begins promptly at 6:30 PM.
