This course will give an overview of information architecture and interaction design. Core theories and techniques such as card sorting, hierarchies, page layouts, prototypes and user research will be discussed and practiced through lectures, discussions and in-class projects. The goal of the course is to help students to think in logical and creative ways in order to display large amounts of information that are delightful, intuitive and effective for users.
