Artists Talk on Art presents: Synesthesia and Perception
 
 Friday, December 8, 7pm

A panel discussion about the phenomena of synesthesia, a condition in which an individual who receives a stimulus in one sense modality, simultaneously experiences a sensation in another--such as hearing sound when seeing color. Moderated by art historian Greta Berman; panelists include researcher Lawrence E. Marks, photographer Marcia Smilack and American Synesthesia Association co-founder Carol Steen.
