Starting in 1982 with “Illegal America,” which used mimeographs, Xeroxes and other radical means to present multimedia artwork, Exit Art founders and creative directors Papo Colo and Jeanette Ingberman have mounted more than 100 groundbreaking presentations of art, theater, film and video. They will discuss some of the most iconic shows of this historic, independent New York City cultural space.
Presented by the BFA Fine Arts Department as part of the Art in the First Person lecture series.
