Tuesday, January 19, 6:30pm Electronic media artist and SVA faculty member Perry Bard will speak about participatory culture and her current project Man With A Movie Camera: The Global Remake, which invites people around the world to create a mash-up of the 1929 Russian film. Bard has shown work at The Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Sao Paolo and Montreal Biennials; the Reina Sofia National Art Museum, Madrid; and Shang Elements Contemporary Art Museum, Beijing.
