As an artist who is endlessly fascinated with the way things work, I enjoy teaching students the mechanics and poetics of visual storytelling, from the most basic problem-solving, like designing a panel that reads clearly, to the deeper challenges of using the rich visual-textual language of comics to create the most engaging and complex works possible.
