 International Student Enrollment Status Form If you already have a valid F-1 visa or status and are enrolled in another SEVIS approved institution in the U.S., you must have your I-20 sponsorship transferred to SVA. - Contact the International Student Office to obtain the Enrollment Status Form.
- Have the international student advisor at your current or previous school fill out and sign the form. Return the form to SVA's International Student Office (iso@sva.edu or fax: 212.592.2241) with a photocopy of your passport and SEVIS Form I-20 issued by the school you have last attended.

International applicants are required to submit a declaration of finances (DOF) indicating that the applicant has financial resources adequate to provide for his or her educational expenses without resorting to unauthorized employment. The amount declared must reflect the total sum of tuition, fees and living expenses for one academic year of study (see Student Expenses) and must be dated within one year of initial enrollment at SVA. All funds declared on the DOF must be substantiated by a verification of finances (VOF) letter from an officer of the student's bank or sponsor's bank. Funds must be in a readily accessible form such as liquid assets. All documents must be in English and in U.S. dollars, or the current exchange rate must be supplied by the bank. The DOF and VOF must be completed and returned to the Office of Admissions.
